SINGING IN THE RAIN. Waterproof and printed velvet fabrics by Jover, the ultimate key items of Heimtextil 2018

At the beginning of January, we introduced the new collection of fabrics by Francisco Jover at Heimtextil fair (Frankfurt), where we showed a wide range of technical updates in terms of materials, colours and finishes.

WATERPROOF, SOIL RELEASE and ULTRAVIOLETA PROTECTION will be the technical treatments of the year 2018 for smart fabrics.

WATERPROOF TREATMENT	SOIL RELEASE	ULTRAVIOLET PROTECTION
A fine coat applied on a fabric in order to make it water repellent and breathable. This coat does not allow the water to permeate the filling, preventing the damage of the fabric and the appearance of damp.	Soil Release (SR) treatment for fabrics, makes stain removal easy and it is antistatic, hydrophilizing and fabric softener. It does not contain fluorocarbons.	Finished applied to the fabric to protect it of direct sunlight, preventing the damage of the fabric and colour loss.

* The properties of these treatments are permanent, and they remain even after washing.

NEW ITEMS of Francisco Jover showed at Heimtextil 2018:

1. VELAR COLLECTION

A collection of Jacquard fabrics with geometric details suitable for upholstery and with a high performance (40.000 martindale cycles), available in 7 colours. Its main features are:

1. Easy cleaning with water (SR fabrics)

2. Fire-retardant (FR) treatment applied upon request following EN1021 and BS5852 regulations.

2. ZAGATO COLLECTION

This season, velvet fabrics have a big presence among our collections with a great display of options.

ZAGATO PLAIN COLLECTION
The collection of plain velvet fabrics with a STROPICIATTO LEGGERO finished is available in a lot of colours (more than 40 colours). They are also finished with a ULTRASOFT and SOIL RELEAS (SR), easy-cleaning with water, treatments.

ZAGATO COLLECTION
A display of 7 velvet patterns in several colours, a new product development among our collections.

RANGUN
An exclusive collection of contemporary fabrics for modern decoration and interior design. These velvet fabrics are featured with a metallic laminate detail, result of a new technique of fabric development. Do not miss the CORTEZA collection, a new collection made of a linen-viscose blend, that is also featured with 3 new metallic patterns.

3. OUTDOOR COLLECTION
	Among the new OUTDOOR collections, we will find the SIROCCO and ATLAS collections. They are high performance upholstery fabrics with ultraviolet protection, suitable for outdoor spaces exposed to direct sunlight.
